Aftercare is the final step of the protocol. Here you will find which product suits each treatment – in the clinic and, where relevant, at home – so the skin is calm and comfortable from day one and the patient knows exactly what to do.

After laser

After ablative and fractional laser the skin is warm, tight and sensitive for the first days. The aim is calm and hydration from the first hour – Purasomes NC150+ in the clinic, and Exosomes Boost Serum for the patient to use at home.

In clinic: Purasomes NC150+ Nutri Complex is applied a few minutes after laser, once the skin is no longer warm.
At home: Exosomes Boost Serum (50ml) morning and evening for 7 days.
Avoid: sun, heat, make-up and active ingredients until the skin has settled.

After microneedling

Microneedling opens the skin to what is applied in the same session. Purasomes is therefore used both during and straight after needling, and the patient continues with a mild serum at home while the skin settles.

In clinic: Purasomes GC100+ during needling and as the final layer.
At home: AfterMED Finish Mini morning and evening for 7 days.
Avoid: make-up for the first 24 hours, and sun and active acids while the home care lasts.

After polynucleotides

After polynucleotide injections the skin has small entry points and often light bumps for the first days. The patient needs a product mild enough for freshly treated skin that does not compete with the treatment.

In clinic: AfterMED Finish is applied over the entry points after treatment.
At home: AfterMED Finish Mini morning and evening for 7 days.
Avoid: massaging the area, exercise and heat for the first 24 hours.

After lip filler

The lips are the area the patient looks at most in the days after treatment. A lip balm made for freshly treated skin brings comfort and a cared-for look – and gives the clinic a natural product to send home.

About aftercare

Why is aftercare part of the protocol?

Because the skin is at its most sensitive in the first days after treatment. A product made for freshly treated skin brings calm and comfort, and the patient gets a clear routine to follow at home.

Can patients buy the products themselves?

No. The clinic sizes are used in the clinic, and the clinic sells the mini sizes to the patient as a home product. BC Nordic sells only to verified clinics.

Are the products medical devices?

No. AfterMED and Purasomes are cosmetic products and are not for injection. Always follow the instructions for the treatment itself.

How long should the patient use the home product?

Home care is used for 7 days after treatment. After laser, Exosomes Boost Serum is used at home, following Purasomes NC150+ in the clinic.
