The formulation combines low and high molecular weight hyaluronic acid without chemical cross-linking agents. Where a filler holds its shape in the tissue, Profhilo spreads and works across the surface. That is the reason behind the established BAP technique with a few defined injection points, and behind the fact that the treatment is normally carried out as a course of two sessions four weeks apart.
