“Skin booster” is an umbrella term covering a wide range of hyaluronic acid-based injection treatments, from pure biostimulants to light formulations adapted to superficial injection. Concentration, molecular weight and degree of cross-linking determine whether the product primarily stimulates the skin's own collagen production, or adds moisture and fullness more directly.
Profhilo and Dejale are non-cross-linked and work biostimulatingly. Restylane Vital is a light, non-cross-linked formulation adapted to microinjection. RRS HA Long Lasting is cross-linked with added amino acids for extended durability. None of them are fillers in the traditional sense — none of the four are intended to provide a structural increase in volume.
