Where a hyaluronic acid filler provides volume for as long as the gel remains in the tissue, Radiesse works in two stages: the gel carrier gives immediate volume, while the CaHA microspheres remain and stimulate the body's own collagen production over time. The product is used both for conventional placement and in diluted form for skin quality.
