Profhilo and Profhilo Structura are buffered physiological solutions of high-molecular-weight (H-HA) and low-molecular-weight (L-HA) hyaluronic acid. According to the manufacturer’s instructions for use, the hyaluronic acid is of microbial origin and produced by biofermentation without chemical modification.

According to the manufacturer’s instructions for use, Profhilo (3.2% hyaluronic acid) is intended for the treatment of the malar-zygomatic and submalar areas of the face, to redefine contours and remodel laxity, and is injected intradermally. Profhilo Structura (4.5% hyaluronic acid) is indicated for face treatment and restoring adipose tissue, and in the dermal tissue repair process in cases of acne scars. Structura is injected intradermally/subcutaneously with a needle or cannula.
The kit contains 2 × 3 ml Profhilo Body for injection, 4 Profhilo Figura Body Patches and 1 × 150 ml Profhilo Figura Body Cream. Profhilo Body is a medical device. The Body Cream and patches are cosmetic products and not medical devices. Indications and use are stated in the manufacturer’s instructions for use.

According to the manufacturer’s instructions for use for Profhilo Structura, NAHYCO® Hybrid Technology is a patented treatment of the solution in which hyaluronic acid chains of different molecular weights interact. This gives rheological properties that allow a higher concentration of hyaluronic acid to be administered at the same viscosity.
