AfterMED Lips

An anhydrous balm for the lips after lip filler and lip blush. Its key ingredients – Kahai oil, arnica and colloidal oat – moisturise and give a soothing feel, while menthol gives a cooling feel. 15 ml in an airless pump according to the manufacturer, for clinic use.

Key ingredients

Kahai oil (Caryodendron Orinocense Seed Oil) – oil from the Amazon, rich in omega-3, -6 and -9 according to the manufacturer. Moisturises and gives the lips a soft feel.
Arnica (Arnica Montana Extract) – a plant in the daisy family, chosen by the manufacturer for a soothing feel on the lips after treatment.
Colloidal oat (Avena Sativa Kernel Flour, Avena Sativa Kernel Oil) – gives a comfortable, soothing feel and eases the feeling of dryness.
Menthol – gives a cooling feel on application.

How to use

Apply in the clinic once filler placement and moulding are complete and there is no significant bleeding. Dispense from the pump without letting it touch the lips, and apply a thin, even layer with sterile gloves or a sterile single-use applicator, without pressure.

Contains nut oil (Kahai), arnica, oat, menthol and flavour – not suitable for people with a nut allergy. Cosmetic product — not a medical device.

AfterMED Lips er en vannfri balm til leppene etter leppeprosedyrer, utviklet og produsert av AfterMED Skin i Storbritannia. 15 ml-flasken med airless-pumpe ifølge produsenten er klinikkstørrelsen. AfterMED Lips Mini 4 ml er laget for pasientens hjemmebruk.

Sammensetning

Formuleringen er vannfri, har ingen konserveringsmidler i ingredienslisten og er uten pigmenter ifølge produsenten. Hovedingrediensene er:

Kahai-olje (Caryodendron Orinocense Seed Oil): olje fra Amazonas, ifølge produsenten rik på omega-3, -6 og -9. Gir fuktighet og en myk følelse på leppene.
Arnika (Arnica Montana Extract): plante i kurvplantefamilien, valgt av produsenten for en beroligende følelse på leppene etter behandling.
Kolloidal havre (Avena Sativa Kernel Flour og Avena Sativa Kernel Oil): gir en komfortabel, beroligende følelse og demper følelsen av tørrhet.
Mentol: gir en kjølende følelse ved påføring.

Slik brukes AfterMED Lips

Påføres i klinikken når filler og modellering er ferdig og det ikke er betydelig blødning. Doser fra pumpen uten at den berører leppene, og påfør et tynt, jevnt lag med sterile hansker eller en steril engangsapplikator, uten trykk. Pasienten fortsetter hjemme med Lips Mini.
