Anhydrous formulation
AfterMED Finish and AfterMED Lips are anhydrous formulations – there is no water in the ingredient list.
Microorganisms need free water to grow. Anhydrous products are therefore considered products with a low microbiological risk under the international standard ISO 29621.3
Neither Finish nor Lips has preservatives in the ingredient list. The full list is on the product pages.
Lips 15 ml is dispensed from a pump, and the protocol states that the pump must not touch the patient's lips.2
Low microbiological risk applies to the product in its packaging. Good hygiene during application is as important as ever.
The mini sizes let the patient continue at home with the same range that was used in the clinic.

Apply lightly with clean hands, daily as needed for comfort and hydration. Avoid unnecessary touching of the treated area during the first 24 hours.1

AfterMED products are cosmetic products. They are not sterile wound-care products, medicinal products or medical devices, and they do not replace clinical follow-up or complication management.1,2
