Kemikum (6x6ml)

What it is

Kemikum is an exfoliating peel with trichloroacetic acid (TCA) from Aerazen Lab, Italy, for professional use in clinics.

Indications

According to the manufacturer's instructions for use, the product is applied to the face, neck, décolletage, sun spots and breast where the skin is lax. The product is also indicated for acne.

Use

• Prepare the skin. Draw up the required amount of product (1–2 ml) with a sterile syringe.
• Apply 3–5 drops to the dry, clean skin surface in this order: forehead, first cheek, second cheek, chin, neck, décolletage. Massage in until completely absorbed. Repeat if necessary.
• Leave the product to act for 1–5 minutes, depending on skin type.
• Following medical judgement, remove excess product with the neutralising product and dry the skin carefully.
• The manufacturer recommends a moisturising, nourishing and soothing aftercare cream and sun protection after the treatment and in the following days.

Possible side effects

Following treatment, and depending on individual skin sensitivity, there may be a risk of hyperpigmentation, scars, infections, persistent erythema (redness), orange peel skin, shiny skin and hypopigmentation.

Storage

Cool, dry and clean at 5–25 °C, away from light and heat sources. Do not swallow. Keep out of the reach of children. In case of contact with the eyes, rinse immediately.
