JULÄINE™ is an injectable biostimulator based on poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), developed and manufactured by Nordberg Medical in Sweden. The product is a CE-marked medical device.

About the technology

According to the manufacturer, the PLLA microspheres in JULÄINE™ are made with LASYNPRO™ technology, which produces uniform microspheres that are easy to inject. PLLA is a synthetic, biocompatible and biodegradable material.

What to expect

According to the manufacturer, JULÄINE™ does not give an immediate volume effect as a hyaluronic acid filler does; the result builds up gradually. The patient should be informed about the course before treatment.
