Active ingredients

• Trichloroacetic acid (TCA) 3%: stimulates collagen, elastin and glycosaminoglycan production for firmer skin.
• Microencapsulated resorcinol: depigmenting. Acts on tyrosinase and inhibits melanin production.
• Pyrrolidone carboxylic acid (PCA): strengthens the skin's moisture barrier and adds comfort.
• Alpha arbutin: evens out skin tone and reduces pigment spots.
• Microencapsulated vitamin C: inhibits melanin production, is an antioxidant and supports collagen synthesis.
• Tranexamic acid: reduces pigmentation and dark spots.

Treatment protocol

Four steps for superficial chemical peeling of sensitive areas. Contact time is shorter than for facial peels and is adapted according to the manufacturer's instructions for use (IFU).

1. Cleanse: gentle cleansing of the treatment area.
2. Pre Peeling: balances pH and prepares the skin for even penetration.
3. Intima: superficial application with short contact time.
4. Neutralizer: neutralises the actives and stabilises the skin.

Training

Treating intimate and sensitive areas requires precise technique. BC Nordic offers hands-on in-clinic training and certification in the Intima protocol and recommends it before the first treatment.
