What it is

Pluryal Silk is a viscoelastic polynucleotide gel from the Densifier PN series by MD Skin Solutions, formulated to regenerate and tighten sensitive skin on the face and body.

Mechanism of action

Polynucleotide (PN) at 7.5 mg/ml is absorbed by the skin and stimulates fibroblasts directly, promoting collagen production and improving skin metabolism, delivered via an isotonic, pyrogen-free gel formulation.

Indications and treatment areas

Eye contour, mouth corners, neck, decolletage, abdomen, inner thighs, and acne scars or stretch marks in combination with peel or EBD treatment.

Treatment protocol

  • Initial series: 3 treatments, one per month for 3 months.
  • Maintenance: repeat every 5–6 months.

Expected results

Up to 6 months duration, varying by patient skin condition, age, lifestyle and injection technique.

Pluryal Silk treats a wide range of facial and body areas including the eye contour, mouth corners, neck, decolletage, abdomen and inner thighs. It can also be used for acne scars (combined with a peel or EBD treatment) and stretch marks (combined with EBD).

What is the polynucleotide concentration in Pluryal Silk?

The concentration is 7.5 mg/ml, equivalent to 15 mg per 2 ml syringe. Each package contains one pre-filled syringe with 2 ml isotonic gel composed of polynucleotide, water, sodium chloride and phosphate buffers.

How is Pluryal Silk administered?

Pluryal Silk is implanted intradermally with a fine needle, e.g. 30G. It is compatible with tunnel, point, cross-linking and fan techniques, as well as various newer non-invasive techniques.

What is the recommended treatment rhythm?

3 initial treatments are recommended, one per month for 3 months. After this initial series, treatment can be repeated every 5–6 months.
