Tear trough

A selection of the products we most often recommend for the area under the eyes. You will find the full range under Polynucleotides and Fillers.

What characterises the area

The skin under the eyes is thin, and the area tolerates little volume before the result becomes visible. Product choice is therefore more about skin quality, moisture balance and structure than about fullness. Hygroscopicity is a key property – a product that draws a lot of fluid can cause swelling here.

How the area has developed

Mesotherapy products from Fillmed and biostimulating fillers from Teoxane have long dominated. In recent years polynucleotides have come strongly into their own as a separate category, where the aim is skin structure and elasticity rather than volume.

Relevant products

Plinest Eye and Plinest fast – Mastelli, Italy. Clinically documented polynucleotide platform.
Teosyal Puresense Redensity II – developed specifically for the tear trough, with low hygroscopicity.
Fillmed NCTF 135 HA – mesotherapy cocktail for skin quality in the area.
LUMI-Pro Eyes PN Eye – cosmetic product, a lighter alternative.
