Virkemåte

Luer Lock-mekanismen skrus fast i begge ender og låser koblingen mekanisk. Ved overføring av viskose produkter kreves høyere trykk, og skrufestet reduserer risikoen for at koblingen løsner underveis. Overføringen skjer i et lukket system, som begrenser eksponering og produktsvinn.

What is a RapidFill connector used for?

The connector is placed between two syringes or containers and makes it possible to transfer liquid between them in a closed system. Typical applications are reconstituting products, mixing solutions and transferring from vial to syringe.

Why Luer Lock rather than Luer Slip?

Luer Lock screws on and locks the connection mechanically, while Luer Slip is held by friction alone. Transferring viscous products requires higher pressure, and the screw fitting reduces the risk of the connection loosening and product being lost.

Can the connector be reused?

No. The product is sterile and intended for single use. It must be discarded after use on one patient, in line with the clinic's infection control procedures.
