HYAcorp MLF2

What it is

HYAcorp MLF2 is an absorbable, sterile, apyrogenic and viscoelastic gel implant of cross-linked hyaluronic acid of non-animal origin, from BioScience GmbH (Germany). Intended for restoring lost volume and contouring body surfaces, with a stronger volume effect than MLF1.

Mechanism of action

The gel is implanted into subcutaneous and/or supraperiosteal tissue to supplement the intercellular matrix and restore lost anatomical structures. The product is completely degraded over time.

Indications and treatment areas

Buttocks, calves and correction of concave deformities; contouring of the décolleté and supplement after liposuction. Contraindicated in the face and for breast and genital augmentation.

Treatment protocol

• Injection: subcutaneous and/or supraperiosteal with a suitable sterile needle on the Luer lock (needle sold separately). Not intravascular or intramuscular.
• Dosage: correct only up to 100 % of the desired volume; no overcorrection. The syringe graduation is a guide only.
• Practitioner: physicians with knowledge and experience in fat grafting or similar treatments only.

Expected results

Natural volume augmentation and contour. Duration varies with injection depth and area; the manufacturer states no specific duration. After treatment: avoid excessive heat/cold, sport for a few days, and massage or pressure on the area.

CE 2409 (MDD 93/42/EEC). Manufacturer BioScience GmbH, Dümmer, Germany. Steam sterilised, single use, traceability label for the patient. Store at 2–25 °C. Norwegian IFU rev. 01 under Documentation.

Composition per ml: Hyaluronic acid, cross-linked 20.0 mg; hyaluronic acid 2.0 mg; sodium chloride 6.9 mg; water for injection ad 1.0 ml. Non-animal origin (fermentation). 1 × 10 ml prefilled syringe with Luer lock.

Kroppsfiller med grovere partikler for større volum og konturering, særlig i seteregionen. Injiseres subkutant og/eller supraperiostalt; dybden varierer med behandlingsområdet. Partikkelstørrelse 300–500 µm. 1 × 10 ml sprøyte. Uten lidokain. Skal ikke brukes til bryst- eller genitalaugmentasjon.
