Skin boosters are used when the goal is skin quality rather than volume: hydration, elasticity and surface texture. What separates a skin booster from a filler

A filler is placed to provide structure and volume in a defined area. A skin booster is distributed across a larger surface and works at tissue level. Most of the products use non-cross-linked or lightly cross-linked hyaluronic acid, often combined with amino acids, vitamins or polynucleotides. The effect builds over a course of treatments, typically two to three sessions two to four weeks apart, followed by maintenance.
