About Radiesse®
Radiesse® is a long-lasting filler that stimulates collagen production and consists of CaHA (calcium hydroxyapatite) microspheres in a biodegradable glycerin gel. The gel in Radiesse® disappears and is replaced by collagen and other soft tissue formation, while the CaHA microspheres remain at the injection site and form a scaffold for the new tissue that is formed. Radiesse is not broken down by the body in the same way as a hyaluronic acid filler, as it is replaced by the body's own tissue, and thanks to the long-lasting formula, the effect of this product lasts up to 18 months.
