What it is

Pro Acne AHA is a dual-action sebum-balancing acne cream that exfoliates, cleanses and hydrates without drying out the skin.

Mechanism of action

AHA acids (glycolic, tartaric, citric) exfoliate the skin surface and brighten skin tone. Salicylic acid (BHA) is oil-soluble and cleanses directly inside the sebaceous glands, essential against comedones and blackheads. Ozonized water and aloe vera soothe inflamed, irritated skin, while the light, non-comedogenic formula hydrates without a greasy after-feel.

Indications and treatment areas

Combination, oily and acne-prone skin.

Treatment protocol

Use: apply morning and evening after cleansing. Limit sun exposure after application and always use high-SPF sun protection.

Improved skin texture and glow, fewer breakouts and refined pores, with reduced redness and irritation.

What is the difference between AHA and BHA in this cream?

AHA acids (glycolic, tartaric, citric) exfoliate the skin surface and promote cell renewal. BHA (salicylic acid) is oil-soluble and penetrates into the pores to cleanse the sebaceous glands from within — the only acid that does this.

Why should sun exposure be limited when using it?

AHA/BHA acids increase the skin's sensitivity to UV rays by exfoliating the outermost cells. High-SPF sun protection is always recommended when using acid-based skincare.
